How do I get involved?
Email us and Founder/Curator Janne Ryan will reply. You can meet with us to take us through your project or your interest in donating.
How much does it cost?
Entry level is $1,000. Many people give more. All donations are fully tax deductible.
Where does my money go?
ARROW chooses the projects we want to be part of and negotiates the partnership deals. Your donation becomes part of a collective gift under the ARROW philanthropy brand e.g. ARROW Collective, Foundation Partner, Dance Rites, Sydney Opera House.
All donations are fully tax deductible. We work with our partners who provide our tax deductibiliy e.g. for Dance Rites, we partnered with the Sydney Opera House.
We are stronger together than we are apart!
Working collectively and collaboratively we are able to do what individuals can’t do alone. If 50 people join us @ $1,000 each (all tax deductible) we have $50,000 to partner. This gives ARROW tremendous opportunities: we can do some very innovative projects. Dance Rites is an example of the power of collective giving and an innovative collaboration with Sydney Opera House.
Can I volunteer or intern?
We’re currently looking for a digital intern.
What projects have you seed-funded?
All our projects have provided seeding funding. This means we’ve taken a risk on ideas we have believed in e.g. Dance Rites (Sydney Opera House), The Reef (Australian Chamber Orchestra), Seven Stories (Ensemble Offspring/City Recital Hall). View the Partners Page.
What projects are you currently working on?
We are currently working on a brand new project - contemporary art - with the Sydney Opera House for 2019.
how does ARROW approach seed-funding?
Our approach to seed-funding is that we see it as an opportunity to do the heavy lifting at the beginning of a potentially ‘risky’ project.
It provides the opportunity to dream big, bringing new sounds, images, narratives and culture into existence.
We like to go where others haven’t.
